A company has been fined £8,000 for health and safety failings after a worker lost his arm after it was pulled into machinery.The 71-year-old victim had been working at UFAC (UK) Ltd's plant in Oakham when the incident happened.Leicester Magistrates' Court heard he had removed a guard on a production line conveyor when his arm was drawn into the machinery, between the belt and roller.It left him with extensive injuries to his right arm and meant it had to be amputated below his shoulder.He...
